Another Cover for Rinjapine

My third entry for Rinjapine contest - cover for her fanfiction titled Simba's Pride - Requiem.

I am not proud of that picture. Not proud at all. It's not like I was not trying. I did! I made dozens version of this cover but every single one of them was total failiour. That's the one which I consider to be less sucky than the rest.

So, in the picture there are suposed to be: Chaka (I failed to imagine how the back of his mane looks like), Shenzi OR Asante OR random hyena (Rinjapine may choose) and Timira. They are looking at peacefully speeping Kiara with her two little daughters curlled beside her. In the most distanced part of the cover there are Kovu/Amani and Vitani/Shani. I am afrait that the lioness is telling her former mate highly unplesant things.

Believe me or not byt this cover was meant to be deeply symbolic. Annoyed Kovu in thistant background was supposed to mean that he was to busy with his own buisnes that he did not see the dangere threathink to his new family. By drawing sleeping Kiara I wanted to show that she was so careless, fulish and blind that she did not noticed not only things which were happening behind her back but also in front of her eyes. Even putting hyena between Chaka and Timira had a meaning - it symbolised that this two - despire the feeling which they finally develop for each other - were divided forefer by the hyenas and evil. Cut a long story short, I simply wanted to put into that cover the essence of this incrediple story which Requiem is.

I failed.
